As a three bolt couple, they have the potential to be terribly cute together (Rodney's rather cute no matter what) and no doubt wonderful research subjects for the Clevecy Kingdom resident Simologist. As for Vanessa's most irregular behaviour... well she is a sim whose main motivation is for family. She's looking for the ideal mate and must be thinking this fellow is a better match than the good professor. Considering the professor's display of violence against women, I think Vanessa may have made a good move by ending her relationship with him.
