Generation 01-01
(Imagine, if you will, a quiet British Accent…)
Salutations! My name is Angelia and you are all in for a really exciting treat! I’m so excited that I can barely stay still.

It has become my honor and priviledge to introduce you all to a wonderful new series for the New 2006 Year. It’s a documnetary about a most intriguing of specimens, and I’m so excited to be able to be the one to document all the goings on of this creature and its decendents. What’s the name of the documentary, you ask?
(Author’s Note: Think Wild Kingdom)
So. A little background first. It has been my dream since graduating with my Ph.D. in Simology (the study of Sims) from OxYalStanduk University to study the most rare of sims - the Cleveland of the Garth variety. The golden plumage. The ape-like features. The ability to morph into whatever environment it is placed in. An extremely adaptable and intriguing creature. I did my thesis on the species. I was sought after by the best scientific minds to discuss this being further, but I decided that the world needed to see what inner beauty it had.
And so I came here to one of the last refuges of the Cleveland Garth. Here? Oh! I’m sorry. Welcome to BelleView!

One of the last remaining habitats that the Cleveland Garth can inhabit on SimEarth, it is a protected refuge. Oh, and don’t be fooled by the name. It is no way related to that Sim Hospital for recovering bubble blower addicts. I just had to state that right up front. It’s a beautiful place with a wonderful view.
Anyway, so you can imagine my surprise and delight when I was sought out to do the documentary for SimDiscovery. I was humbled by this chance. Through a catch-and-release program, they found a wonderfully healthy specimen for me to observe (from a scientific distance), and they have given him the name Garthalomew Clevecy.

Note his distinctive features! They’ve found such a wonderful specimen for us all to observe, and I’m really foaming at the bit to get him released back into the wilds of BelleView.

Again, note the golden plumage … the distinctive jaw … the assured stance. Wonderful specimen! I can’t say it enough!

My job is to follow Garthalomew (Garth for short) throughout his life. I will document his behavior, his mating rituals, his offspring, and anything else that may appear for the camera to capture for as long as his line remains virile and viable. Join me on this wonderful journey of discovery.
(Cue Opening Music … which sounds strangely similiar to the opening music for Star Trek the Next Generation …)

Strange as always Captain. Strange as always. Glad to see you’ve jumped aboard the ugly train!
A very interesting style. Can’t wait to see what happens.

Your creativity knows no bounds! Cleveland Garth, the missing link between humans and apes *LOL* No wonder Cleves do wild things like one-man population explosions, hehe. Great blog, I can’t wait to read more. I’m glad you decided to jump aboard to the ugly train. Sim-Angelia is cute btw

It reminds me of when I read Never Cry Wolf in college. I immediately fell in love with wolves, and I understand that I can never have one as a pet. lol. I like reading this blog to understand the Cleves and to understand them in their environment. Maybe one day I will own my own ugly maid. I love how you are writing this. You are brilliant the way you explain your narrator.

OK - This was the very FIRST sim-blog I ever found years ago - no kidding - it’s on “My Favorites” as #2, right under my radio station!
D Unfortunately, that was before I had the kahonies to leave comments! lol! So I’ll just refresh my memory & make up for it now!
I love the sim Discovery channel & I can’t wait to find out what’s been going on in the Clevacy Kingdom of late!
