02-Chapter 3 - Growing Up Isn’t So Hard
An Elemental History … Sim date - Supplemental …
In my last entry, I know I was griping about the fact that I’ve been missing out on my little girl’s growing-up lessons … but … I’ve recently been promoted so that does give me some more time at home to spend with my small family. While Shenene continues to teach our little girl, I’ve decided to take on a more creative project.
I’m still amazed by the fact that my little Mina looks so much like the family that I lost. So … I thought I’d paint a picture for a more concrete comparison.
Searching through my thoughts and memories, I don’t find it very difficult to think of an image of my mother to paint. It’s an image of her that I’ll never forget. It was my last concrete memory of her after all.
After mommy decided that Mina had had enough learning for one day, she let her run around the house to find something to entertain herself with. And do you know what she did? She came and found me. My little girl came into the den to find me. *wipes tear from eye*
I guess she doesn’t mind that I missed her more informative days where she learned to walk and talk. My little girl must love her daddy.
Well … I finished the painting.
The resemblance is AMAZING!
(*Author’s Note: Yup. Hedgekat was right about that image size thing. They do look a bit squished. But … the image is painted. Maybe I’ll have him paint another one when she grows again and I’ll use the other size. I’m NOT going to redo this one. It’s my first attempt and his. I think it’ll be an heirloom or something.*)

Awwww! She is so cute and so loving! I hope she remains so in love with her father as she ages, but the teenage years do seem to change kids. I hope he has an easy time with her as a teenager…he deserves some happiness after all he’s been through. Thaks for the update.

Oh my goodness! That was THE sweetest update ever!! What a gorgeous little girl. Her eye color is beautiful too!!
Poor guy… missing out on his little girl growing up. Hopefully things will change soon!!

Bah! Hydro needs to give himself a break already. Okay, so he missed his little girl’s birthday. Would he have been happier if he’d stayed home from work, gotten fired because he missed work, and they had to live out on the street and couldn’t even afford a birthday cake?? He needs to remember these things and not kick himself so much. *breaths heavily, than takes a calming breath*
Anyway, Mina is absolutely gorgeous and it’s amazing how much she looks like her grandmother!

That was so cute! Mina is a beautiful little girl! How sad for Hydro to miss his daughter’s birthday. Poor guy. But it doesn’t look like Mina habors any ill feelings…for now at least.

Wow, grandma comes out to see her granddaughter that looks so much like her!
So glad that Hydro have a special moment with his darling baby girl. That last section sure gave me a warm feeling. Thanks!

Wow, look at Hydro’s eyes as he’s painting that picture…man, so pretty. And Mina is gorgeous! I loved those pictures of her blowing out her cake and her copying everything Shenene said. =) That was such a cute update!
